Post-doctoral Fellow

Tick Biography
Spacing Franck Le Pouliquen received a Engineering degree in Electronics from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electronique, Informatique et Radiocommunications de Bordeaux (ENSEIRB), and a Ph.D. degree in Image Processing from Bordeaux I University (Bordeaux, France) in 1997 and 2003, respectively. He prepared his Ph.D. at the LAPS Laboratory (CNRS UMR 5131) under the supervision of Prof. Najim and Prof. Baylou, working on textural image analysis with emphasis on orientation estimation, and on fault recognition in textured pictures with application to seismic data. He was then a post-doctoral researcher at the GREYC Laboratory (CNRS UMR 6072) (Caen, France), working on 3D rendering techniques with Prof. Revenu and Associate Prof. Rahbar. In September 2005, he joined the ARTEMIS Department at the Institut National des Télécommunications (GET/INT) as a post-doctoral fellow to work on facial animation and 3D rendering techniques in tight connection with the MPEG-4 standard.
